Finance Manager

We are seeking a Finance Manager who is eager to advance their career rapidly. This role is with a leading global provider of satellite-based broadband communications, renowned for over 35 years of innovation in designing ground segment equipment and delivering comprehensive end-to-end services. Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage daily operations of the accounting department, including the month/year-end process, general ledger, reconciliations, and debt activity.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements.
• Prepare and review accruals at period end with supporting documentation.
• Post daily cash receipts and bank entries.
• Play a key role in SOX Implementation and take ownership of financial and accounting controls.
• Direct the monthly general ledger close process and maintain a checklist.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with group guidelines.
• Prepare sales tax and property tax returns.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification is essential.
• Experience with general ledger and ERP systems (Deltek/Cost Point is an advantage).
• Knowledge of project accounting in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with public companies and SOX processes is an advantage.
• Strong technical skills in Excel.
• Ability to multitask and take initiative.
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling large amounts of data.
• Readiness to tackle all aspects of the job, including routine tasks.
