Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Join a High-Impact Team!

We’re hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support a high-performance Order Management System at a leading financial institution. 🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Keeping things running smoothly – Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
✔ Optimizing performance – Work with Development, QA, and other SRE teams to improve environments, automation, and tooling.
✔ Incident management & support – Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis to ensure stability.
✔ Technical documentation – Study software documentation to fully understand the application landscape and provide efficient support.
✔ Process improvements – Identify and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues and enhance system reliability.
✔ Collaboration & communication – Act as the go-to resource for business stakeholders and technical peers, providing updates and solutions proactively.

🔹 What You Need to Succeed
✔ 5+ years of experience supporting Java-based applications in a RHEL (Linux) environment.
✔ Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another cloud platform (AWS, Azure).
✔ Experience troubleshooting JVM issues (thread dumps, garbage collection, memory management – Java 17+ preferred).
✔ Version control expertise (Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory) & familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
✔ Experience with configuration management & automation tools (Puppet, Foreman, Terraform, Salt, Ansible, etc.).
✔ Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, JSON, XML, YAML).
✔ Ability to work in Agile environments and actively participate in planning and project meetings.
✔ Financial services experience is a plus, but not required.
