We’re hiring a Chief Information Cyber Analyst Officer to support a government customer in Huntsville. This role requires deep IT/OT cybersecurity expertise, leadership skills, and experience in Zero Trust, ICAM, RMF, and DoD/Army environments. You’ll work closely with leadership, guiding cybersecurity strategy and compliance across both IT and Operational Technology systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & CIO Support:

• Align IT/OT strategies with organizational goals

• Support IPv6 and Windows 11 transitions

• Guide Zero Trust adoption across environments

• Mentor and lead junior cyber analysts

 

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Manage full RMF lifecycle for Army/DoD systems

• Assess vulnerabilities and advise on mitigation

• Ensure compliance with RMF, NIST, and DoD standards

 

Policy & Regulatory Guidance:

• Develop and review IT/OT security policies

• Ensure compliance with federal and DoD regulations

• Lead ICAM framework integration and implementation

 

Security Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain security artifacts (SSPs, POA&Ms, etc.)

• Deliver clear risk and compliance reports to leadership

 

Incident Response:

• Guide system owners through incident response processes

• Refine response protocols and implement lessons learned

 

Assessment Analysis:

• Analyze CPT and BSE findings

• Present clear, strategic takeaways to leadership

 

Collaboration:

• Partner with IT/OT stakeholders to improve cybersecurity posture

 

What You Bring:

• Active Secret Clearance (required)

• 8+ years in IT/OT roles, 3–5 in senior or CIO-level positions

• Experience with SCADA, ICS, and Army cybersecurity practices

• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, RMF, NIST 800-53, ICAM, IPv6, and Windows 11

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GSEC, CSSA, ITIL

• Clear communicator with strong presentation skills

• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
