Job Description: As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to attract potential clients. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the logistics and freight industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate leads.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and detailed information.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns.
  • Follow up with potential clients to nurture relationships and move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, must be in the logistics and freight industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
