Job Description: As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive and motivated individual with a deep understanding of the logistics and freight industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of services.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics and freight industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics and freight operations and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
