Experienced Aeronautical Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aeronautical Engineer to join pipeline of defense & aerospace industry talent. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in aeronautical engineering, a deep understanding of defense systems, and the ability to work on classified projects that require Secret or Top Secret security clearance. This role is instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing advanced aerospace systems to meet mission-critical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aerospace Design and Development:
  • Lead the design, analysis, and testing of advanced aerospace systems, including aircraft, UAVs, and defense-related technologies.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art tools to perform aerodynamic, structural, and propulsion system modeling and simulations.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and survivability of aerospace platforms.
• Systems Integration:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate aeronautical systems into broader defense architectures.
  • Ensure seamless compatibility of aerospace designs with navigation, communication, and weapons systems.
  • Conduct trade-off analyses to evaluate and optimize system performance under various operational scenarios.
• Testing and Validation:
  • Plan and oversee ground and flight testing to validate system performance and compliance with requirements.
  • Analyze test data and provide detailed technical reports and recommendations for enhancements.
  • Ensure all engineering activities align with stringent defense standards and protocols.
• Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
  • Maintain compliance with federal regulations, including ITAR and DoD standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and compliance reports.
• Security and Confidentiality:
  • Handle classified information with the utmost integrity, ensuring adherence to all security protocols.
  • Work closely with government agencies and contractors to ensure project security and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in aeronautical engineering, preferably within the defense industry.
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in aerodynamics, propulsion systems, structural design, and flight mechanics.
• Expertise in engineering tools such as MATLAB, CATIA, ANSYS, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of military standards, specifications, and defense systems development.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working on classified defense projects or advanced weapon systems.
• Familiarity with stealth technology, hypersonics, or advanced propulsion systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in managing complex engineering projects.
