Business Development Director
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 + commission + car allowance

We are seeking a Business Development Director with a strong background in domestic freight and logistics, specifically in non-asset-based Drayage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the logistics industry and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. This remote role offers a competitive base salary, commission, car allowance, and benefits.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct cold calls to gather information about potential clients’ transport requirements and identify decision-makers.
- Self-generate meetings with potential new customers, either virtually via Teams or face-to-face.
- Track and record metrics throughout the sales process to inform strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Meet and exceed financial goals by effectively managing resources and strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the logistics industry, with a focus on drayage and non-asset sales.
- Bachelor’s degree and significant business experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to analyze financial data to inform business decisions and sales strategies.
