Job Title: Cost Manager
Location: Jeffersonville, OH (onsite)
Salary: $125k–$140k
We’re looking for two experienced Cost Managers to join our client’s team — one to focus on Mechanical, and one for CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) projects. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and helping the team stay on budget. If you have a background in construction, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for project management, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Review and issue cost reports to the construction team
• Monitor cash flow and report any issues to the finance and construction teams
• Oversee the change order process and ensure proper approvals
• Make sure all invoices are processed correctly and on time
• Manage procurement for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFPs and analyzing bids
• Track contractor buyouts of subcontract packages and report to the client
• Lead bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement and change order status with contractors and engineers
• Provide cost analysis for value engineering efforts
• Perform earned value analysis to measure project performance
• Ensure contractors meet close-out requirements under the contract
• Support the client with cost-related legal issues if needed
What You Need to Succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in cost management or a similar role
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects
• Knowledge of construction contracts, including liens and AIA contracts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

Additional Information:
This role is expected to pay between $125k–$140k annually, depending on experience and location. All candidates must pass a background check and drug screening upon offer acceptance. Our client is a federal contractor.
