Job Title: Data Analyst (Active Secret Clearance required)
Location: Huntsville, AL (On-site up to 5 days/week – relocation assistance available)
Salary: $100k–$130k (based on experience)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Data Analyst with an active Secret Clearance to join a government project focused on control systems. This is a hands-on role where you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights using Power BI and SQL. If you love digging into data, building dashboards, and helping teams make informed decisions, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Data Analysis & Visualization:
• Build and manage dynamic Power BI dashboards to deliver real-time insights.
• Use DAX to create complex calculations and advanced data models.
• Pull and organize data from multiple sources using SQL.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear reports and visualizations.
Data Modeling & Reporting:
• Design and maintain data models to improve business analysis.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Document data processes to make sure everything is clear and repeatable.
ETL and Data Management:
• Streamline ETL processes to improve data flow and accuracy.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
• Work with teams to define data needs and improve reporting efficiency.
Program Support:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data strategies with business goals.
• Develop presentations and briefing materials that make complex data easy to understand.
• Manage schedules, track tasks, and keep everything running smoothly.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Active Secret Clearance (Mandatory) – Candidates without this clearance cannot be considered.
• Expert-level Power BI (DAX, data models, dashboards)
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Proven track record in data analysis, preferably in a government setting
