Senior Identity Access Manager (IAM) with Single Sign-On (SSO) Expertise

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Identity Access Manager (IAM) to join our innovative IT department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of identity and access management frameworks, expertise in implementing and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, and a strong background in risk management and data access safety. This role is critical in ensuring secure and seamless access to enterprise systems while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities· Identity and Access Management (IAM): 

  • Develop, implement, and manage IAM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure secure access to systems, applications, and data.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of user identities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).

· Single Sign-On (SSO) Implementation: 

  • Design, implement, and manage SSO solutions across the organization to streamline authentication processes and enhance user experience.
  • Integrate SSO with third-party applications and internal systems, ensuring secure and efficient access.

· Risk Management:

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities related to identity and access systems. 
  • Develop and enforce controls to mitigate risks associated with unauthorized access and data breaches.

· Data Access Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish secure data access protocols and protect sensitive information.

· Innovation and Leadership: 

  • Stay updated on emerging IAM technologies and best practices to maintain the organization’s competitive edge. 
  • Lead IAM-related projects and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and security awareness.

· Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to align IAM initiatives with organizational goals. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for IAM-related audits and regulatory inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  •  7+ years of experience in Identity Access Management, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
  •  Proven expertise in designing and managing SSO solutions (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD, etc.).
  •  Strong understanding of IAM protocols and technologies, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
  •  Experience with risk management practices and data access safety methodologies. 
  •  Solid knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
  •  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or related IAM certifications. 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based IAM solutions and hybrid environments.
  •  Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
