Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Senior Investment Strategist to oversee and manage high-caliber investment portfolios for our wealth management clients in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This role focuses on delivering customized investment strategies tailored to the wealth categories and financial goals of clients within the region. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in portfolio management, a strong understanding of market dynamics, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Portfolio Management:
- Design, implement, and manage sophisticated investment portfolios that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of asset allocation, market trends, and economic indicators to optimize portfolio performance.
- Monitor portfolio performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize returns and minimize risks.
· Client Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients, providing insights and guidance on investment strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the DFW area, understanding their unique financial goals and objectives.
- Deliver regular updates and performance reports to clients, addressing questions and providing strategic recommendations.
· Market Research and Strategy Development:
- Stay abreast of global and regional economic trends, market developments, and investment opportunities.
- Develop forward-looking investment strategies tailored to the needs of clients within the region.
- Identify and evaluate emerging investment opportunities to diversify and enhance portfolio performance.
· Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including financial planners and analysts, to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Represent the firm at client events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the client base and promote services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA, or CFP) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in investment management, portfolio strategy, or a similar role.
- Expertise in asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and structured products.
- Proven track record of managing high-net-worth or institutional client portfolios with exceptional performance results.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of the DFW market and familiarity with regional wealth categories and client demographics.
- Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNW) and family offices.
