Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Senior Wealth Management Client Associate to join our dynamic team in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with extensive experience in wealth management and a strong background in tax optimization strategies. In this role is a pipeline opportunity, we are gathering talent who could support high-net-worth clients, providing exceptional service and tailored solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering personalized service and strategic guidance.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships by understanding clients' unique financial objectives and providing proactive solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review account performance, address questions, and provide updates on market conditions.
- Wealth Management Support:
- Assist senior advisors in developing and implementing comprehensive wealth management strategies.
- Provide expertise in areas such as investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning to enhance client portfolios.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external professionals, such as accountants and attorneys, to ensure holistic financial planning.
- Tax Optimization Strategies:
- Analyze clients' financial situations to identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
- Implement strategies such as tax-loss harvesting, asset location optimization, and retirement account maximization to minimize tax liabilities.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all client interactions and account management activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including documentation of recommendations and actions taken.
- Team Collaboration and Mentorship:
- Collaborate with senior advisors and team members to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Mentor junior associates, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses; additional certifications (e.g., CFP, CPA) are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in tax optimization strategies and their application to wealth management.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial planning tools, and wealth management technology.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients and understanding of the DFW wealth market.
- Familiarity with estate planning, charitable giving, and legacy planning strategies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and CRM platforms.
