The Role
The Kitchen Manager is a pivotal leadership role, providing direct support to both the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Managing Partner. This position involves overseeing all back-of-house (BOH) functions and playing a crucial role in mentoring a strong BOH team. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the company’s mission and core values.
- Ensure all food meets safety and quality standards to prevent cross-contamination.
- Hold a Food Manager Protection Certification.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance tasks accurately.
- Oversee and implement new recipes, menus, and training programmes.
- Delegate tasks effectively, provide direction, and ensure completion.
- Mentor team members and share gained knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Enforce company policies and foster a positive culture.
- Manage budgeting and financial responsibilities.
- Be comfortable with technology and learning new platforms, with a keen attention to detail.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Passion for food and people.
- Energetic attitude and personality.
- Willingness to take direction and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as reaching, squatting, and bending.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced setting for up to 6 hours.
- Eagerness to learn and develop.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
