We are seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in civil engineering to take on the role of Project Manager for municipal, commercial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil engineering design and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering principles to design infrastructure for various projects.
• Develop civil site drawings, including site plans, grading plans, utility plans, and drainage plans.
• Evaluate design alternatives, considering limitations and costs.
• Perform calculations and develop specifications for construction drawing sets.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering documents.
• Prepare conceptual site layouts and review local ordinances.
• Review local requirements for planning, zoning, and building permits.
• Collect and complete permit documents.
• Sign and seal drawings as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation in the state of Texas.
• 5 or more years of previous experience in civil engineering design.
• Proficiency in engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience with computer-design techniques.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and public agencies.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD-Civil 3D and most MS Office products.
