Job description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing effective sales strategies, managing and mentoring a team, and exceeding sales targets.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
    • Develop and implement sales training programs to improve team skills and product knowledge.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
    • Set clear sales goals, track progress, and adjust strategies to meet targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
    • Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction by providing tailored solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis:
    • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
    • Prepare regular sales forecasts and progress reports for upper management.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize sales processes.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of strategies and to create customer-centric solutions.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine business objectives and contribute to overall company goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Lead, or similar sales leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, CRM software, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
