Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing effective sales strategies, managing and mentoring a team, and exceeding sales targets.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales training programs to improve team skills and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Set clear sales goals, track progress, and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction by providing tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and progress reports for upper management.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize sales processes.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of strategies and to create customer-centric solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine business objectives and contribute to overall company goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Lead, or similar sales leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, CRM software, and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in fast-paced environments.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
